Though I desired more so I searched and got the Lest We Forget and I knew I needed more. I just didn’t research anymore on him until I was 17 1/2 because yet again I didn’t want the image reflected in the glass to shatter. Yet when I did find more I learned to respect him all the more. I realized that this is a person who i could relate to, someone who makes me feel not so alone in this godforsaken swamp. Then 7 months after my 19th birthday I read his book. And cried because there was just so much that I knew was true in me. So now all I want is to become famous enough he has no choice but to acknowledge me. My darkness is real, how about yours?
